J. B. Jackson has demonstrated an infectious enthusiasm for everyday scenes and greatly contributed to our recognition of the significance of vernacular landscape. While cultural landscape provides us with a widening understanding in global heritage
thinking, this kind of contemporary everyday landscape involved in the expanded concept of cultural landscape is inevitably linked with individual perspective and a sense of place. How can we take advantage of the universal concern and global thinking in cultural landscape to deal with the type of landscape associated with personal experience and memories as well as a specific location’s sense of place?
